How Taken
While using Plan b, always follow your doctor’s advice or what has been said in the labels. The drug should not be used in larger amounts and also not to be used for longer periods.
The first dose of Plan b has to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. The next dose should be taken 12 hours after the first one. You should have to maintain the timing between the doses for effectiveness. If you experience vomiting within an hour after taking Plan b, call your doctor immediately.
Missed Dose
Care should be taken that the timing of the two doses are maintained. If you miss the timing, contact your doctor. In case you have taken an overdose, do not delay in seeking emergency medical help. Vomiting and nausea are some of the overdose symptoms.

Plan B should not be used as a routine form of birth control. The drug is not prescribed if you are already pregnant as the drug is not going to terminate pregnancy. Side effects
